Dr. İbrahim Genç

Ibrahim Genç, born in 1971, has graduated from

  • Ankara Science Lycée in 1988,
  • Istanbul Technical University (ITU), Electrical Electronics Engineering kFaculty, Dept of Electronics and Communication Engineering in 1992 (BSE degree) ,
  • ITU, Institute of Science and Technology, Dept of Electronics and Communication Engineering in 1996, (MSE degree)
  • ITU, Institute of Science and Technology, Dept of Electronics and Communication Engineering in 2008, (PhD degree)

He worked as

  • Research and Teaching Assistant in 1994—2000 at Ondokuz Mayıs University Engineering Faculty, (he was in charge in ITU between 1994-1998)
  • Senior Researcher in 2000—2005 at Turkish National Science and Technology Council (TÜBİTAK) Marmara Research Center (MRC) Information Technologies Institute,
  • Executive Board Member and Software Projects Director in 2005— 2009 at C Tech Information Technologies Inc.

He has been honoured with

  • TÜBİTAK Münir Birsel Foundation Grant during PhD education
  • TUBITAK MRC Success Grant, two times.

He gives lectures

  • at Gebze Institute of High Technology, in 2008-2009 (Graduate level: Linear Systems)
  • at Turksh Naval Academy, in 2009-2011 , (Undergraduate level: Modern Communication Sytems, Advanced Communication Systems)

He is an assistant professor at Instanbul Medeniyet University, Electrical - Electronics Engineering Department since 2012.

 

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ergin

Mehmet Ergin was born in 1936 in Yozgat and he is a Professor of Physical Chemistry. He has

  • completed their undergraduate education at the University of Ankara,
  • received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Glasgow
  • been a Professor at Hacettepe University.

He has worked as

  • the president of TUBITAK (Turkish National Science and Technology Council),
  • the president of Turkish Atomic Energy Agency,
  • National Science Coordinator for the NATO Stability Program,
  • chairman of the Department of Chemistry, Fatih University,

and directed numerous master's and doctoral thesis. He has also been as project director on behalf of TUBITAK in several NATO-founded development projects.

He is the author / co-author of two books and about 50 scientific papers, presentations and reports.  He is also the co-editor of seven books.

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ergin is a founding member of the Islamic World Academy of Sciences and currently serves as Vice President.

He turned over all his duties to other partners after selling his shares of the company in 2012. We appreciate so much all his support during the initial phase of AgenaIDT.

 

 

Dr. M. Fatih Hocaoğlu

M. Fatih Hocaoğlu, born in 1969, is married with two children.

He works on

  • air defense simulation system,
  • simulaion of command-control systems and agent programming,
  • developing agent drivent simulation language,
  • simulation task planning and operatng system development,
  • qualitative reasoning and simulation.

He has been graduate from;

  • Kabataş High-school,
  • İ.T.Ü. Sakarya Engineering Faculty, Dept of Industrial Engineering (BSE, 1991),
  • Y.T.Ü. Institute of Science, Dept of Industrial Engineering (MSE, 1994),
  • Sakarya Üniv. Institute of Science, Dept of Industrial Engineering (PhD, 2000).

He worked at Arizona University in 2001 as a post-doc researcher. He worked on modeling and simulation and developed software language and software applications.

He worked

  • in 1991—1992, at Uzman Bilişim Sistemleri Ltd,
  • in 1992—1997, at Karadeniz Technical University,
  • in 1997—2006, at Turkish National Science and Technology Council (TUBITAK), Marmara Research Center,
  • in 2006 —2009, at C Tech Information Technologies Inc.

Hocaoglu has been actively involved in a lot of civil and military projects. He has been honoured with M&SPCC (Modeling and Simulation Professional Certification Commission) and TUBITAK success award three times.

He is a faculty member at the Department of Industrial Engineering, Istanbul Medeniyet University since 2011.

The paper entitled "ADSiF, Agent-Based Simulation System and Model-Based Verification and Validation" (in Turkish) by M. Fatih Hocaoglu, İbrahim Genç and A. Arif Ergin has accepted for presentation and publication in National Symposium on Software Quality and Software Development Tools (YKGS-2010). The symposium will be held in 3 - 4 December, 2010 at Culture University Atakoy Campus.
